my sky+ box driving me nuts,it records fast forwards and pauses but wont re-wind,it keeps saying recording interupted,ive tried sky hd but when on ordinary channels sound was complete shi_e so i returned it even though i told them problem they werent interested,so anyway any suggestions on the above,cheers in advance...................

have you tried updating the firmware?

1- Switch off power.
2- Hold down BACKUP button on the front of the box and switch power back on.
3- Wait until all the lights show on the front of the box then release the BACKUP button.
4- An on screen message will tell you that an upload is in progress and when complete will change to channel 998.

Might need to do a planner rebuild (press services, 4, 0 ,1, select) and chose it from there. If that doesn't work a full reset will be needed, but you will loose your recorded programs.
