Not fun, not fun at all....
few weeks ago I had to swirve out of the way of some dickhead who overcooked his corner going up a hill...after avoiding him and then trying to avoid the rather large curb on my side, my clio decided it didnt like wet tarmac and slid straight into the curb.
BANG, passenger seat airbag flies across the window saving my girls head. I'm now slightly deaf in my left ear, smoke has filled the car, my warning lights are going crazy. Oh and the hazards have turned themselves on, which I thought was a nice touch =]
....damage......Scuffed alloys, bent subframe, wheel tracking quite a way out on my front left wheel, seatbelt pretensioners have fired on left side back and front, ripped seat from the airbag :/ and I think there was something about the engine mount.
so far I've got the tracking done and the subframe replaced, which I got done the next day luckily, and whatever was up with the engine mount. that totalled to £549.
I've been running on my spare wheel since then cos the alloy was pretty screwed up at the front, but I've bought a whole new set of 17" which will be a nice improvment =]
so now just need the seatbelts fixed and the airbag done. but not really sure how to go about that, any help anyone can give me will be awesome.
Oh yea the service light has come on and obviously the airbag light, how do I get these reset?
