my 1.4 mk1 clio slips out of fourth gear if i jus slightly push it without even touchin the clutch. I recently had a new clutch cable fitted, and it crunches like a b**ch sometimes wen i put i in reverse. i dont no if that has anythin to do with this, maybe some cogs somewhere have been worn?
well anyway wen i first got the car it slipped out of second on its own without needing pushin, and this cost 400 pounds to repair! which i really dnt want to do again!
is there any chance it might be a cheaper job? possibly just a gate on the gears? i dont no if there is even such a thing im just clutchin to straws here i RREEEHEEALLLY dont hav 400 pounds!!!
