Hi guys,
Sorry if this is the wrong section, seemed the most relevant section I could find.
Does anyone else find the Clio 182 steering bloody slow? or is it just me? I find the rack ratio just crazy slow, when you're going quick it makes sense as it seems to become pretty lively but it's still not exactly sharp. Could it be something up with mine or are they just a slow ratio rack? I can't feel any play in anything, it's just dull. The tracking isn't great, some crappy garage by me did it and simply pointed the wheel left instead of right... well done...
I'm going to put on a smaller wheel to replace the god awful standard one with either spacer set up so it's closer or a dished wheel and I'm going to go small, about 320mm or maybe a bit less. This will presumably make it feel slightly sharper and just wondered what others experiences were with smaller wheels and the steering response?
Cheers,
Will
