ok, got my Fz27 - beast of a camera.
got the tele lense with it, but when i fit it with the extension, how the hell do i get rid of the sort of barrell effect (tunnel effect) thing... has like a tunnel to the end of the picture, you have to zoom really far in to get rid of it!
is there a setting on the camera??

No that is normal, with a tele adaptor you can only use it after a certain focal length, otherwise it is literally seeing the additional lens on the camera.
My FZ20 + 1.7x tele extender needed to be set past approx 6x zoom before it could be used. To be honest the 12x zoom of the camera should be more than enough for most stuff, my 1.7x only came out for an airshow.
