Smell of coolant - no leaks.

Wonder if anyone can help me, I've got a smell of coolant coming through the dash only when I've had the car at high RPM. I've noticed no leaks, no white smoke or no loss of anti-freeze. Is this normal when the car is getting drove hard. I don't get the smell when driving normally..

Any help will be much appreciated.

No not really, it's probably leaking from somewhere.

Not normal no.

I'd look around the heater matrix area where the coolant flows.

I'll have a look but I can't see anything and I'm not loosing pressure upon a pressure test. Is this a common thing!?

Check the watermpump, might be weeping from there, sump gets hot = coolant smell

I'm doing the belts dephaser and water pump tomorrow so hopefully that will solve it.
