Smoking under hard braking.....

I have Hi-Spec 4 pots with Green stuff pads. Excellent braking I must admit!!

The other day, I was having a little play and was braking quite heavily, as I stopped my brakes were smoking, any one got any ideas? Are my pads just not upto the job?

Seeing as I've got the brands trackday coming up in November can anyone recommend some track pads? (my car doesnt go on the road much now).

Where can I get them from?

they are going to smoke if you hard brake all the time dude!

I only braked hard a couple of times.....

Smoke could mean anyhting could just be the brake were a bit wet or could be the pads are buring off anyhting on the disk.

It looks good to anyone looking at car with smoking brakes though
