snapped alternator belt and loss of power

HI all I've had a search but cant find the info I'm looking for.
My power steering/alternator belt snapped,I have replaced it.the car was running very badly also due to a rotten exhaust.
I've changed the exhaust today its running better but I have lost a lot of power low down the revs and its still running a bit rough.
I cant see any sensors near the belt but I think possibly when the belt snarled up it may have taken a sensor out.
Are there any sensors around this area?
I think I will clean the TDC sensor but as the problem only really occured after the belt going I think it must be connected some how.
Its a W reg clio 1.4 16v.
Any help appreciated
Ben
