Snapped carbon splitter

  Expert HDI & R53
Can anything be done with these once snapped?

I cant believe how bare the car looks without a splitter!! :(

If your nifty with your hands you can clamp it together then fibreglass the inside and then fill the outside. Smooth it and paint it. Jobs a good un.

I did the one on my old 172. Looked good in matt black and cheaper than a new one. Mine was in 3 pieces as well.

So do you think if i sent it into a body shop they might be able to fix it?

Don't fancy shelling out for another one just yet

A bodyshop will, but it'll take a couple of hours, which their labout rates could equate to a new splitter.

yeah its probs repairable, but you would lose the carbon fibre effect if painting it

Is it a k-tec one? because if its to the left side i could sell you one good half of the left side an then you could match them in the middle...
