Snapped Wheel Hub!

Has this ever happend to anybody?? Noticed on saturday when was fitting new brakes, when undoing the bottom bolt it jus fell of?? Took the part that snapped of to a local garage and getting the new one orderd today!

Havnt got a clue lol, yer its snapped from the bit that holds tha caliper in place! As you can tell not exactly a expert with teh technical stuff

Think you mean the carrier has snapped, think if the hub had snapped you would've known about it.

Well just as i started to brake there was a huge bang, followed by a very loud grinding sound. Then after jacking the car up and taking the wheel of etc, i notcied this had snaped of....





Couldnt get any pics at the time of were it has snapped of from.

Yea thats a bit of the hub snapped off!

The guy said to get it down to the garge i could put the caliper back on and jus really tightin the other bolt, will this mean that i will have some brakes then or will they jus be inefictive ?

yer yer it only bout 5 mins from the garage so i would take it easy! Couldnt belive it when it hapind, was soposed to be going in today anyway for its m.o.t lol
