Snooper Indago Satnav Mini review!

  Ford Focus ST2
Ok ordered my Snooper Indago on friday and it came this morning, First thoughts on the unit where, f***ing hell, what a neat little unit!

After all the excitment i powered it up and was surprised that it found the signal within 20 secs, and was showing me just off the road (could not belive i was getting a signal inside my house)

Anyway went out to the car and placed it on the dash and nothing, NO SIGNAL (no surprise there)! After that i installed the GPS aerial, through the bulk head and under the bonnet, powered the indago up and bang very good signal.

After taking it for a little test drive i found the camera data to be 100% correct (better then the road angel 2) although the sat nav failed on ONE road around my area (All satnav units i have seen fail with this road too!)

Overall i am very happy with the unit, i know i paid a little more for the unit then a tom tom or other makes, but i feel this it the right choice for me and my girlfriend!

If anyone is thinking on buying one i would recommend buying one!

If anyone would like any pictures of the unit i can take some and post them!

Hey dude, i recently got a road angel plus for a steal on ebay. But after having a go on my dad's tomtom i really want proper satnav - its really helpful for seeing the road layout at night!

Does yours run off a battery? Wires are a right put off!
Can you get european maps on the 'cheap'? ;)

Cheers

the indago does every thing the tom tom does, night view, 3d, change the colour of the maps!

and camera database is better the the road angel, i can compare because i ran the road angel and the indago side by side and the indago picked up better, if your on a road that runs side by side and you on the non camera road (if there is a camera on the other one LOL) the indago well not go off, where as the road angel well.

I did i test run with it last night over a 50 miles trip and it was bang on, no errors, i would 100% recommend this unit to anyone (even the non snooper lovers, like i was before getting this unit)
