Thought is give it a wirl as I've heard great things and its cheap lol. So after panicing about blowing the car up I printed Martin's guide off and did it step by step, with a little guidance from Martin. Please take into consideration I'm retarded when it comes to technology. So contacting henk via email with the relevant code and waited for an email back which I got this morning. Big thumbs up to henk too btw. So made copies of my ecu and rewrote the relevant sent files and took it for a quick spin. First thing I noticed was the idle which has been raised. It's raining so I took it easy but the power delivery is all through the range no step at 5k. Will give it a couple of days and report back but its def more responsive. And for people one of which would be me, looking back its a piece of cake seriously. One thing have something to keep the battery alive just in case as it does take a while to read the ecu.

Yeah really impressed mate and couldnt careless if its in my head lol. Yeah I will be selling it mate but not for a couple of days. And before you ask it doesn't do the pops and bangs, that would have driven me up the wall lol.

Have you played with the performance graphs on it yet? I tried it on mine the other day and it seem good enough to gauge the change between standard and 98ron, so when I do mine, I will be taking a performance graph before and after the flashing. Will be running it in gear 2 though as in the recommended gear 3 the car is doing instant ban+ speeds (obviously reading will be incorrect, but will still show the difference).

oh right lol sorry. In the RSTuner software you can do 'dyno' test. It wont be that accurate, but it gives you an idea of what changed/where the powers increased.

To use it, start the car, connect to car I RSTuner, go for a drive and when you ready to do the test, press 'activate PA mode', drive to the starting spot without pressing the accelerator to the floor, push it to the floor to start the logging. it auto stops when it senses you lift off the accelerator

Just a quick update. Car is running absolutly spot on. Idles slightly higher when warm and cold start isnt any issue atall, although mine was great beforehand anyway. I initially thought it was in my head with how much more urgent the car is but its def noticable. All in all made up

^^No buy brand new tuner from Fastchip which comes unlocked, connect to your car take screen shot of ecu software and cal. Then send an email to henk with screen shot attatched and your order number from when you puchased the tuner, stating you want the 98 ron map and Henk will send it to you.

Second hand tuners need an unlock code and map purchasing from fastchip.
