So.. In this months Evo.....

  Fiat Coupe 20v turbo

Sounds like very similar performance imo, difference in driver skill would be a lot more noticable than the difference between Cup and 182.

The 182 is faster than the Cup!

0-60 mph in 6.6 secs

0-100 mph in 17.5 secs!

1/4 mile - 15.1 @ 94 mph
And that in turn was spanked by the CTR in pure acceleration...

Still nice though. For £14.5 K good value, although Renault residiuals never help.

My wife has an Alpha Spider whic is up for renewal. I am thinking of persuading her into either a CTR, an imported new Integra TR, and now a 182, although she wants another cab. Had a CTR on test and am going to try and get a 182 (with the sticky michelins) for the weekend. Seems to be getting rave reviews.

Those are the close ones that suit.;)

Then check the 3/4/5 in gear times at all speed ranges. CTR has about a second everywhere. Not much I know, but a difference anyway.

Dont really want to get involved...but I will! :D

If you remove the ABS, seats, car mats etc etc etc Im sure the 182 will be that fraction quicker than the Cup.

Still, Ive been in a Cup and if the 182 is anywhere near as quick, Ill be happy, even 1/10th of a second happy.
