RB 182
Before I start, I'm not saying 6 is a record, it's merely a fact :rasp:
It all started at the end of 2006 when I sold my Saxo VTR and bought this 172 off a forum member, via the For Sale section
All went well for 4 months, until a blind Escort driver killed it
So, set about finding another, and found my favourite ever, my Flamer - 1 enthusiast owner, meticulously cared for, excellent
This Clio took me and my GF round Europe, via Italy and Spain, in a week, without drama. I'd buy it back in a heartbeat, but the guys stopped replying to my yearly requests on Facebook lol
I sold it to a distant mate, to fund buying a Silver 182 that needed abit of work. That was an 04, I can't find any pictures but basically a someone had nicked the front bumper! I tarted it up, and made £1k profit in a matter of weeks
Anyhu, I then bought the Flamer back, and eventually sold it in 2010 looking like this
I then bought a brand new 200 CUP
My GF hated that car! She hated the ride, and basically thought it was a basically Clio with a big engine - technically true
So, the 200 only lasted 6 months
i then moved off RS, but rejoined the club, buying this Sunflower in January 2013
I got this cheap, did the belts and genuinely tarted it up. I took it on my 1st ever track say to Blyton Park, and loved it. The Sunflower performed brilliantly!
I then sold it in Sept, to fund an engagement ring! I had a brand new A3 through work for 6 months, then a Volvo T5 C70, and onto my latest Clio
Like most of them, it needs some work! Not much I don't think 'touch wood', but bits and pieces. The Storm Grey colour is amazing! The finish on the paint is excellent, I'm really pleased with it. I'm looking forward to getting it upto scratch mechanically, but I enjoy a challenge!
So that's it! Here's to another few years with RS'!
