no not on forumstake clear photographs of the back of the HU, and the connectors on the amp, and your earth point.
are you on the talkaudio forums? Full of great advice on there.
ok, so to clarify:
You've had 2 different Head Units, 2 different Amps and changed your earth point... and with both HU/amp combinations the light on the 2 different amps is always on when the ignition is off?
Could be a Sony HU and a Alpine Amp/sub wont make any difference, if they are connected in properly the will work.
so you have a problem with Remote ...
Did you try swapping the red and yellow wires on the back of the HU?
its looking that way but how can u have a problem with a single piece of wire?
no, im unsure what you mean by this...
How neat is your wiring at the amp ? If one strand is shorting over to the remote on terminal this would keep the amp alive full time.
and why does the fuse keep blowing?
which fuse is blowing?
what gauge cable are you using throughout?
Where have you connected the blue remote wire to on the hu?
Did the blue wire come with a connection onit like the yellow & white but in transparent colour?
Looks like the blue wire may be a permanent live, try connecting it to the yellow wire coming out of the stereo, you could use a multimeter to test for a switched live, or a bulb with 2 pieces of wire, can you get a close pic of the wiring diagram on the top of the hu?
