So what next???

After the williams playing up and now not wanting to start i've given up with him and cant be bothered to put anymore money into him, So he will be going up for sale as spares or repairs shortly or i may break him.

Which leaves me with the question, what next.

I have around 2k to spend and i'm not sure what to go for

Any suggestions?

Lost the love for it mate, I lost the love when the cambelt snapped but still stuck with it. Cutting my losses now and buying something else.

I've been looking around and to be honest for 2k there isnt a lot about which has the same pace. I could build another xe nova but really cannot be bothered with doing that one. Xsara VTS again they will shift with the right mods but they take a lot to get to that stage.

Civic VTI lack of torque and to behonest pointless unless i go for a ek9 which are way out the price range.

Clio 172 Phs 1 could be had, but most need mounts straight away which is £250 ontop of the price

golf GTI' mk2 16v but they are pretty old now and well they are not really that quick in standard guise

dc2 tegs are still at around 4k

seat ibbbbeeeefa cupra could be had for around 2kish but again its just a mk2 golf with a poor underpowered ABF lump again would need playing with.

i just cannot decide to be honest.

obviously ph1 172 is the way forward but there are plenty of others to choose from.

2k will get ya a decent motor in this climate and there are bargins to be had if you look about, especially ebay and pistonheads, saw a mint 306 rallye go on ebay for 2200 last week!!

why not buy a clio 16v with a hybrid willy lump and strip the williams and make 1 good car out of 2?

r5 gtt`s are starting to creep up in price again now, due to the fact there are precious little decent ones left and the ridiculous low tax bracket so they are a good investment, the same can be said for the 205 1.9 gti

Didn't you buy this recently? It's a shame and would suggest saving for a Ph1 172 as they are cracking cars for the money.

Not 100% sure mate, i refuse to look into it lol might be the starter motor packed up or it could be the bottom end which has slightly warped or maybe a bearing has gone or somthing along that line as the starter is now jammed. Not throwing anymore money into so will end up breaking it.

Only other option would be to find a 172 engine/box and throw that into the shell.
