Sold the Valver - New Seat FR

  Clio IV 0,9 Tce
My trusty old valver left me tonight.

Thought i woud show you my new car.
Nothing extraordinary, but i think it will be a nice daily driver.
It is a Seat Altea FR 200hp 2.0 TFSI, and btw, due to stupid danish taxation laws, is it a van.

Not bad. We looked at one of these (but the TDI 140 version) for my wife and I was impressed with it. Much better than the Ibiza IMO.

So will you run with no rear seats or do you fit them after purchase?

No i will have to run it with out the rearseats. That is why you see all these danish cars on yellow plates (I belive you asked about it?)

But i don't think it will be too big of a problem, i don't have any kids, and don't really need the rear seats.
It will be perfect for beer runs to germany, and for carrying car parts for the Seven.

Nice alternative to an expensive golf gti.Nice one.

Whats the cost of tax over there. What would it cost if that was registered as a car against the van cost???

Yeah it is. As a car this would probably be 40.000£ or in that region.
I paid 15.000£ for this. It is a 2007 and with 28000 miles.
Car taxation is as a general rule 180% extra on the cars value.
But it can vary a bit. Anyway iam well chuffed with it, it pulls very nicely.

so am i right in that if you bought the car for £10,000 and registered it as a car you would have to pay an extra £18,000 ????
