solid red light

Has anyone else had there immobiliser light be solid red, car tries to turn over for 3 secs but never gets anywhere. Can't here the fuel pump running. Battery is absolutely fine no problems there

Comms fault along the CANline of he immobiliser. Can be many things I'm afraid.

When I had this I had a loose earth strap on the gearbox (the rear one hidden away by the speedo sensor and/or lambda wiring)
