Some help required please?

My internet connection is disabled if my Time and Date settings arent set to 1 week from now. :S

I noticed it was set to November 2nd, so changed it back and my connection died. Put it back to the 2nd and it was fine again.
Realised that its probably been like this for a while (the one week advanced thing) as a few things didnt tie up a while ago.

Anyone have any idea why? Perhaps due to my Anti Virus software or something equally as daft?

I'm using AVG 8 and also Tuneup Utilities.

Which OS are you on? And how do you connect? Router? Modem? Cable or ADSL?

I've got a feeling I read something ages ago about something to do with AVG8 and the current date/time set. But I have a feeling that's just an updating problem with AVG itself.

You tried disabling AVG for a while, setting date and time correctly and seeing if you can get online, this should let you know if the problem is with AVG or not?
