Some great racing today at Oulton Park - in particular the GT racing being a gamble with the rain being on/off all through the 2nd race. The VW racing was superb too - an entertaining mix of VAG powered cars including turbos, turbo/supercharged combos. V6's and even TDi power. Some of the sounds of those VAG cars were amazing.
Despite my lack of a decent camera, I managed to take most of the following shots. Hope you like!
Aston Martin & Mosler in shot on the pit-straight....
Porker and the Morgan - definitely the best sounding car on track! :approve:
An Ascari going nowhere fast.
"Honest guv - the damage ain't that bad, just don't......
..... go around the back. Ah, you have...."
Viper interior...
Mosler in the garage - pre-race...
Some really good looking Ferraris out there today...
Plenty of motoring p**n out in the fields too. Check some of these out....
Funky Escort Mexico!
Honda NSX - with a good plate for it too.
A Mondeo rear-lighted and engined car. Sorry, Noble....
Cool reg plate!
If Carlsberg made rear lights for CTR's, they sure as feck wouldn't make them like these bulging zits. :dead:
Our 'little' gathering.
New Corvette - and another good reg plate...
Simply stunning TVR. T350? I'm sure Middo would consider one to replace the Yellow Sub!
A Landy proving that 4x4 is useless in soft mud. :rasp:
I like what someone has written on the door!
Tent-pole inducing RX7 - one for Iain C?
Baby Aston in what looked like pearl-effect white. Camera doesn't really show it off. :dapprove:
I wanna switch jobs and work for Dyno-Rod. Looks at their new vans!
An A610 (iirc ?) - looking a bit shabby, but a rare sight, nonetheless.
An Evo will be mine, one day. Oh yes indeedy! Gorgeous looking Five...
A proper retro Cadillac Belair...
.......and a gob-smackingly sexy TVR. You should have seen the attention this baby got!
A great day out, all told. And we flyered four Clios that we saw, so hopefully someone will bob onto the forum?
Finally, our idea of making a quick exit and beating the queues didn't exactly go according to plan!
