Some updated pics and list of mods

Gave the 172 a once over today and thought Id take some pics - not posted any for a while.

Not done anything to the engine for a while but my angelworks manifold is arriving this week so gonna get it highly polished then fitted - want some samcos and a strut brace but here it is at the mo-

Over 3 years old and still looks mint I think - interior is as new

havent done much to it recently - just bought a new house - had a few things done a couple of weeks ago in rentech - removed acoustic valve, adjusted wiper arm which had been creeping up my window for the last 3 years lol. Only mod I have done is some phase 1 rear head rests - they are a bluey shade instead of grey but can hardly tell - might get them retrimmed - not sure yet

sorry title says there would be a lost of mods - forgot its on my work computer so will add it tomorrow

That engine bay is the bogs danglies lol. U polish it or u had it done??? Car looks top dolla mate :-D

Looks good -very clean, not sure on the rear head rests though.

done some of the polishing myself - got some pf it done professionally

dont know how much its lowered by but I would guess about 50mm.

Rich - Im surprised you say that about the headrests - I am really really pleased with them - The original ones are crap - really annoying if somone goes in the back and leaves one up - now they look like 2 proper seats and the headrests never get messed about with - much more comfy and loads less hassle - plus I think they look loads better - had been after a set since I got the car - finally found some a couple of months ago - Gibson an Boyne have quoted £100 for a retrim which I thought was steep so gonna try some local places.

Very nice car mate !!

Particually liking your headrests.... The standard one i find annoying. They look a bit cheap when their up and its a fag for everyone getting in the back and saying "god, these seats are uncomfy" lol Then they push them up and leave them, then they rattle bla bla bla.

As you say, they look like proper seats now and i think i might do the same (if you dont mind lol) if i can find some.

well chuffed - just got some Samco water pipes for the bay as well - bloke on ebay is selling some but hes got 2 sets and Im having one and the other is going through ebay - only lives down the road as well so am meeting him lunch time tomorrow
