Hey all

Can anyone tell me wot spark plugs i need for my Clio 1.2 16v Dynamique 2001 facelift type

if anyone knows pls tell me, as renault say they are special ones??

also, the frotn fog lamps, does anyone know wot bulbs they take?? again renault cudnt be sure, they suggested they were H11, but i cant get hold of any or is therre another number?

PS, since i got the car it feels "lumpy" renault says its fine but i think it isnt, anyone else know of this problem?? it jerks kinda when idling u can feel it in the seats :s i think it needs a good service tho

My missuss 03 Dynamique does exactly the same as yours- lumpiness(sp?) at tickover which can be felt through the seats, gearstick etc. It goes back to the dealer next week to be checked out. Ill let you know what comes of it.

its ok,

let us know wot u find out, when me dad had a look at the car b4 buying it we told them abotu it, and they said itl be sorted, we picked it up a week later and it was still there.

It went back in for them to change plugs and go on the comp, they said it was all fine, but it is still there!!!

So im assuming either im too picky, or this is a common problem? !

My dad beign a mechanic had a peek, we just got the new spark plug remover, cause it needs a special one! took the plugs out and they had been "cleaned" byt he renault dealer and not changed!!

we picked up soem good NGK ones today but wanted to see if anyone new wot they are?

one of me dads customers has the same car as mine, suffered the same problem, my dad has just doen a service on the guys car (as he never gives it to renault) and his has cured the problem, the car runs as sweet as ever!

The lumpy idle is normal...as if the car idles fine then you feel like the whole car just moved....

The bulbs are H1 and not H11

CAnt help with sparkplugs either

When my bulb blew in my old clio I took it out, took it to Renault and said "Give me one of these"

The guy went away and brought one back, but he was confused because the blown one had a blue tint and the new one was clear....the blue tint was because it blew

just go to halfords an get some spark plugs, i think there is 20% off bosch parts at the mo. or you could remove an old 1 an match the code on the side of it to another spark plug.

u sure the bulbs are H1, i got them in my main headlight, H1

And the fogs dotn look like em, i only looked fromt he front, the look bigger"??
