Well they wrote my car of as a cat D, cost for them to repair was £3300 they offered me £3900 for the car and i brought the clio back for £800 and is going to fix it as dad is a panel beater/painter. and will also have some money to playa round with

would it be best to fix it 'cheaply' -- then sell it-

you already have 3.1 in the kitty after buying it back, then make say 4/500 after the repair, should see you with around 4.5k-- Buy a minter then...

Looking at the damage on that car mate even with your old man doing the labour surely thats worth stripping for parts and putting the 3.1k and the parts towards a mint 172 cup?

Got a price on parts second hand and its around £150-£300 then dad gets paint cheap and will do all the work his self at the spray shop then repaint it. dont see why it wouldnt be that bad after plus £1000 of the money has gota pay the car off which i borrowed.

This i reckon when i stacked my old Cup there was more damage, meh, get on with it, probably had more whiplash on the fairground tbh!
