Had exactly the same happen to me, except she was in the 1st lane, me in second, both to go straight ahead/next exit on roundabout. Third lane was to continue round. Lights go green, it's heavy traffic, she buries her throttle and tries to snow plough my Clio so she can carry on around the roundabout in the 3rd lane. Complete moron.

She admitted fault.

Lets hope he admits fault and the car isnt a write off

well spoke to the insurance today and there is a twist know. his insurance say that he has said that i crashed into him and are not accepting liability. iam so angry is there anything i can do except kill him

It's beyond me why people try and wiggle out of admitting fault. When I caused a bad accident I admitted liability straight away, as I was the stupid tw*t who caused it! All was settled in 3 weeks too because I made it so easy for the insurance.

Knows mate, i went into the back of someone a few years gao (turned out to be an off duty super intendant) admitted fault straight away to save any hassle.

He sounds like a proper wanker. I admitted fault in an accident I had a couple of weeks ago, even though I still don't think it was my fault, there's no way to prove otherwise (long story).

Anyway, I'd stand by your case for sure, try not to let him get off with it insurance-wise, do all you can to make him cough up. Good luck - I hope the car gets fixed, it looks pretty nasty

More and more reasons to get one of those devices to record all your driving. Getting sickening tbh. This only occurs as people are so scared of higher insurance premiums and the penalty of 5 years on the policy. Maybe it's time to reduce premiums or change the way they are dealt with.

My premium went up £50 due to the fault claim of over £3000.
2 renewals (16 months) later, my insurance is now significantly cheaper than before I had the accident.

You can lie, nothing stopping you, but you'd be assuming they are stupid, which they are not, and if they disprove what you say, you are in a world of pain. Which may happen to him. Pictures at the scene and the damage to both vehicles pretty much tells the tale from how much damage there is and where it is etc etc.

He was in the wrong lane, Im sure you can request the insurance company to send someone assess the accident, and then it will be clear he was in the wrong lane! Also if someone pulls into the lane you are already in and they hit you then you are not at fault (think thats what you said happened).
I would fight it as much as possible!

Depends where he hits you etc that argument, It he pulled out just infront and you rear ended him, Blame still lies with you. I guess its similar for lane changes, Did he indictate etc etc, Did you see his indication etc etc.

Surely that only applies if you can't prove he pulled out in front of you? If there is a witness or cctv etc... then the person pulling out will be in the wrong!

Insurance companies don't want the lengthy and costly court battles to decide fault. They'll just go 50/50.

i had something like this happen
parked up at work just like every day
some dumb artic driver decided do go round a very tight corner
my car bout 4 cars down from the bent got hit and scrapped all down the side
he drove off no1 see it happen
got reported as failure to stop so yeah
left with nice dent in rear drivers side panel and scraps all down drivers door
luckly the dent isnt buckled in soo bad that it creased so i should b hopfully pullin it out when i find our panel puller thing lol

no update just that £1700 damage was gona be a write off if it was just a normal clio. i just want my car back and the only way i will win this is if i build the best case paint a picture to the person who has to decide who is in the wrong hence pics of cars damage and road lay out it will be put down like a slide show or if he changes his story but hey
