Something broken on my front suspension

Can anyone save me the hastle of jacking up the car in the wet and dagnose this fault from the picture?
Then I can get the replacement part required and have it fixed in one go.

Clio 182 with some coilovers that were on when I bought it.

Nope, that looks normal.

Jack the car up and let the coilover drop to its normal position. Mine did that once when I hit a pothole. Jacked it up and it dropped to its normal place.

Oh right, cheers. It occationally makes a knock which I thought was the suspension but maybe not then. It is parked at a jaunty angle on my unevenly steep drive. I'll move the car and see if it goes back to normal.
If that's pretty normal looking to yous then I will breath a sigh of relief. One thing after the other with this car.

there should be a bit of thread showing out of that nut....

Yep, every single top mount i've ever seen on these has the thread sticking out the top of the nut.

That looks a bit loose, jack up and let it drop, lower the wheel and tighten

Surprised it got an MOT without at least 1 diameter height of thread showing.Would certainly fail scrutineering too
