Yeah the price on these sorta TV's are coming down nicely. Im thinking of getting a 30-40" LCD to replace my computer monitors

But the resolution will be low unless you go for the X series sony's which are 1920 x 1050 which ideally should be 1920 x 1200

Dediated monitors for comp is best if you wish to work on it, if it is simply hooking your TV to your comp to watch DVD's then it will be fine*

Ive got a 50" plasma for DVD's and x360.
Ive got two 21" CRT monitors running in multi-monitor 1600x1200 each on my PC but at some point in the future I might get a smaller LCD TV to replace em. I dont play PC games anymore I just use it for surfing cliosport more than anything lol
