Yeah Ive got one and I love it, but then I do love sony. I can post a few pics up that I've taken with the camera if you want?

I'd get a second hand Olympus or Nikon DSLR for that money

I have a Lumix TZ-7, someone is interested in a trade with me plus cash their way. I already have a DSLR, but the TZ7 is letting me down a bit with no manual mode.

Give it a go, at least then you will be able to give a view on it based on actual experiance

If you dont get on with the Lumix then you havent got much to loose.

Sony cameras generally are very good, although i've not used their latest line of compacts.
