Sony Headunit

I've got the Sony Headunit CDX-M7850 With Blaupunkt iPod addapter. Though I cant seem to get the ipod to work with it. It connects and charges but I cant play it or find it on the headunit??

Any help with this

im not sure but ive tried using a different adapter on my headunit and it does the same..

im not really sure but you can try a different adapter.. maybe one that comes with the headunit?
