Sony M9900 Head unit - Help

Anyone installed a Sony M9900. There is a Green cable which connects to the car parking brake light cable to enable the video input feature to work when the car is stationary (a sony safety feature) and not moving. Is it possible to connect it to another available cable which will keep the video input working all the time rather than only being able to use it when parked ?

it is possible, but its illegal, so im not going to advise

this gets mentioned along with peopel with TV screen head units, possibel search may reveal what you are after, but be advised altering a safety feature for vid display as bryan has said makes it illegal

and if stopped by the police can leade to you beign done. (If seen with vid displayed)
