Sorted one problem, Now for next

Hey

Changed the wheels to stop the dredded Wobble at 65+, But im left with a vibration through the steering wheel, Changes depending on type of road too.

Also when going over those middle of lane speed bumps it feels like one wheel wants to go one way and the other stays straight and i get lurched... if that makes sense.

Also again, When putting my foot down in first or second the car trys to pull left or right randomly and i have to hold on for dear life to make it go straight.

As far as the wheels and bits around them look, they look all ok, Cant move the wheels side to side when up on stands without turning the wheel, all the parts looks strong and not bent.

Will a Full wheel alignment sort this?
Any ideas?

Worn suspension bushes would be my guess.

Are they easy to replace on my own?

I'm new to this but so far i have changed my brakes, engine oil, gearbox oil, Spark plugs, Wheels, Filters.... and will be doing rear shock tomorrow night.

So I'm ok with a spanner

Have you had the tracking checked & the wheels balanced?
If not, get it done. But it sounds more serious than that.

My aim is to have that done today after work / tomorrow at lunch time.

Wheels are 100% Balanced and perfect already.

Alignment done. Left side front wheel was 4MM out according to the chap

Feels much better and less vibration felt through the steering wheel now too.

Although there is some odd drift issue when accelerating fast... But thats something for next months pay check to worry about

Would take a massive hit financially. So can't sell it.
Plus I enjoy fixing these things getting like a hobby lol
