On newer games like FEAR would I notice a difference between an old 16bit SB Live card and a newer 24bit card?

You notice a difference in the improvements of EAX.

I noticted the Audigy 2 SE cards were cheap in PC World, may replace my Sb Live 16 with one of those then.

Got an X-Fi Fatal1ty going in this PC at weekend. Supposed to be s**t-hot, but I've heard loads of ppl having issues with it.

Time will tell, I suppose....
