Sound system problem

I am only after installing a boot builf into my clio, there are 2 x 250w amps running 4 x 6x9 speakers, then there is another 700w amp powring 2 x 1200w subs

When i turn the ignition on but dont start the car the sound system will play, but when i start my car the sound system will play for like 20 seconds then all of my speakers stop working and only the sub is running! Why is this? is there not enought power from my standard battery? Why do the speakers stop working after 20 secs when i start my car?

You need to check all of your wiring - something not right somewere along the line.

And by the sounds of it you are overlaoding your amps - BIGTIME

6x9s - touchy subject on here mate - people get slated for even mentioning two. You have four installed! God bless you.

LOL, I've got 2 Alpine 6x9's and they sound pretty good...

But wouldnt ever go over the threshold of purchasing more...

Good luck to ya mate... Probably is Wiring, Why not get another battery ??

its probs the speakers sucking too much from the amp what guage wireing u using to power the 6x9 amp? and whats the rms value of each amp and sub and 6x9 then we can help as max power outputs are just to catch ppl into thinking there good... always use rms values

I think the problem is that the main amp (700w) is powering the subs, and only one of the other amps is powering 3 of the 6x9's and the other 6x9 is not working at all, so mayb the wiring is wrong and i will have to sort it out so that both amps are powering 2 speakers each
