Being absolutely honest North Weald is a better location to go more often. Cafe, open parking, get to see some of the planes. I'm not saying Ians place is a no go it's personally what I'd prefer and maybe go to Ians now and then as an open day. It was good to see the unit and what goes on there.

Might be a bit cold for a North Weald meet atm but members are welcome to bring their clio,s in over the weekend and take pics and have a coffee. A direction map is on the website.

The squadron cafe is better and you dont have to park on the grass, i dont think the breakfasts cost £10 either.
