Ahhh I thought so chap, to be fair it looks like a very smart example!
I'd be keeping it if I were you, they're only going up in value at the moment.
Nice to see you're buying your old clio back though, many a car I wish I'd kept or bought back!
That's a s**tter regarding the faults It's probably not worth risking more issues and further expense so - yeah - probably makes sense to strip useful spares from it. As for listening to Potter... apparently he's fairly clued up on these things. I wouldn't know...The plan was to go low boost with the engine from the berg once planted in to the MSA spec shell but...I've found a few faults with it now that have put me off a great amount. To the point I may well strip it for spares and start with a new engine/block.
I should of listened to Mr Potter and removed the cams + ecu from it when I had the chance 😢 Live and learn as they say.
I'll deny everything. But, I might boost the cup instead. Maybe...which will be your fault.
Hi mate, and only had it about a month now not long haha and Awww good where have you seen me haha??How long have you had the 182? Think i've seen it about newport.

I would if I had the room matey, I have 3 other cars and a van at the moment so some need to go hahah.. Don't get me wrong it's a bloody quick car but it's just not my clio ... Plus for the Pembrokeshire roads the clio is just as quick as the Subaru
Decisions, decisions mate... whatever route you choose I hope you're soon back on the road and enjoying it. The Cup sounds like a strong one (when running fine!)It was when doing the timing on the cup, I was contemplating it but wanted to save the bergs engine/cams for the build. I thought it would be worth risking as when she last ran, she ran fine, albeit using a little oil. At least we know why now I suppose. I may just drop it in and see how long it lasts.
Fair play to the busy man that is Mr potter, he's worked some wonders on the cup as @Fowlerboy7 found out when we bumped in to each other :car::car:olicecar:😊
Any more news on how long until CBR is back on the road? Thing's going to go like a stabbed rat I can tell.

No more details as to when Le CBR will be back on the road unfortunately. The engine is due to be collected shortly (if it hasn't been already) so that it can be put back into the car and the remainder of the loom, ECU and digital dash finished. Mike was looking to sort out a block adapter for the wiring loom to make engine swaps all the much easier. Once that has been done it has to be shipped back to Dan so he can pop the gearbox back in, fit the turbo, pipework, intercooler, new fuel system, new brake system, etc., etc. As you know yourself, he's absolutely snowed under with work so I'm not sure when he'll be able to schedule time to work on Le CBR.
Definitely worth persevering with then mate! She should be purring nicely come the weekend (assuming the parts arrive and they haven't sent you more duffers!)She's a good one even with the injector fault. Finally got the right set on the way now, should have them by friday :relieved:
I'm hoping she's back in time mate, even if I can't use her in anger due to running in, etc. Fingers crossed! As for the wiring loom... well... that's why I'm more than happy for Mike to be doing his magic on it for me! I'll leave it to the expertsFingers crossed you've got her back for CSF buddy, she's shaping up to be a proper weapon. I'm liking the idea of the block adaptor for the loom. From experience of getting the loom out of the old berg for my build, they're utter f*cking pigs 😂 Not looking forward to wiring it all up.
New brake system...I'm assuming you're going for a set of 4 pots then?
Are you going French car show?Evening guys, How's the weekend weather treating you all, have you been out cleaning your trusty stead's?.... I was wondering earlier, are there any meets coming up the next few months now we're out of the crappy winter weather!, Have re-owned the Clio for a whole week now and still have a stupid grin on my face everytime I look out into the driveway
Not this year unfortunately work and family commitments don't allow 😧Are you going French car show?
If so you could convoy down with me and my mate

Will take a look pal, most definitely enjoying itThere's one big meet planned for Blyton park chap, will be doing a few local ones after that. It's well worth having a look in to, certainly worth attending as last years was a blast and a half.

Glad to see you're enjoying your old clio!
That's what happened to my own club's website. Nobody can be bothered to use the forum now and prefer Facebook. Shame because Facebook is crap for a lot of the event organising stuff and you have no control over it like you do with a forum. It's pretty much killed off my clubI think it's more to do with less and less people have the time to join forums or if they do they use Facebook
Going down sjm on the 19th gonna have to just sit there bored for the day aswel -_-

When down at SJM just head over to Clarks Village and wander around the shops
Thanks mate. Sadly I don't see it picking up. I tried using Facebook events to organise events last year (for Castle Combe Action Day) and it was a nightmare. Even folks from outside the club thought it was some sort of official page at one point and I had over 4000 people on it (my club had 140 members!) When Facebook deleted the event with no mention why I lost several months of organisational information and had loads of people contacting me asking why the event had been cancelled... which it hadn't! Too much hassle but people still insist on using Facebook because it's so easy for them. Sadly not so for the people trying to run a club / business through it Because I refuse to use Facebook for events I have no way of organising anything now as folks don't want to use the forum. So I don't organise anything and obviously it's dying. Shame but there's nothing I can do.I had wondered why your club had gone a little quiet recently Sharky, hope it picks up for you soon!
The website is http://fullyfuelled.com mate.@SharkyUK what was your website?
Yeah well I'd probably walk there just to kill some more time but I haven't checked to see how far away it is yet but I'm sure I won't care if it takes 2 hours be better for me
