South West Meet 29/01/06 Pics

Had a short notice mini-meet down here in West Wiltshire today, suprisingly good turnout considering it was organised in a Spotted thread!

We did Granada Services, Warminster >> White Horse, Westbury (kite flying) >> Aldi (!!!) >> KFC Frome (eating!) >> Longleat House >> Shearwater >> Home.

Yeah was a good day, nice weather too (for pics anyway!)

Good fun leaving Shearwater round by the lake-side, all the people stopping and looking. One guy had a good look at D047s 172 and was talking to his wife, seemed a bit suprised to see one, he then looked up and said "bloody hell, there's loads of them"!!

If I get a Valver soon I will have the Cup and a Valver for a few months, will bring both along next time, the missus can drive the Cup!

You'll note the areas in the shade are facing the other direction to me, so I was indeed taking a pic out towards the lake, away from the er, young 'lightly-dressed' females.

Thats what I'll tell the courts anyway

It would the biggest attended CS meet ever!

But yeah another meet in the not too distant future would be cool. Anywhere else relatively local we could go that we didn't do today? Would be hard to top Longleat House and permission to photograph from the Lord Bath himself (well, one of his trusted staff anyway!)
