South West Rolling Road Day

Hello guys,

After listening to your ideas me and @Stopherson want to organise a RR day in the south west. It looks like there is a lot of interest so hopefully this will be a bit more successful than the other events we've tried to organise.

We will need your input as I know the SW is a massive region so I know people will have to travel.

Possible locations...: (Please suggest any others you think would be suitable)

TSR Performance - Bridgwater
M Tech Automotive - Westbury (The RR Dan@SJM uses)
Power Crazy - Cullompton
Tipton Garage - Tipton

We are looking to do this near the end of August, so we've given you a lot of notice and time to register your interest. Probably a morning of power runs then a drive out to get some photos and food in the afternoon. Please put your name down if you fancy coming along even if you don't fancy the RR as it's not mandatory.

I'll also look into getting Performance French Car Magazine to do a feature as I know they are always looking for RR days.

Hopefully we will get some decent interest in this as the SW region seems to have ground to a halt.

I'll be interested in putting mine on the rollers as I'll have finished my turbo conversion by then . Well if the parts that I ordered nearly 2 months ago turn up by then.
Seems the renault world can be hard work getting hold of parts.
Can someone add me to the list as im useless at computer stuff.

Ok, they're not open until Mon, but I have to go down with a re test anyway, i'll see what I can find out regarding a RR day sort of thing, see if there's enough interst on here to organise one

Ok so I've finally ally had the chance to catch up with the guys at M-Tech, normal price is £45 a run, they can allocate a whole day for a group of 15+ (optimistic I know) at £30 each, or can do something in between for a group of 5+, I haven't spoken of an inbetween price as of yet, nor have any dates been suggested, so far it's purely to gain interest. Prices are plus vat mind

Thanks for looking into it mate. I would be up for it if we can get a big enough group for a discount but it's just going to be 2 or 3 of us £54 all in sounds a bit steep for me.

The arse of it is they've got a big day coming up that I can get a few in for but it's the 12th of March, and that's the same day as Combe

It really just comes down to the date, as I am gone for work quite a bit. Price does not seem too bad.
