space saver wheel- HELP PLEASE

if a car has 17 inch wheels on it can you use a 14 inch or even 13 inch to get you home, or would it be a no no

Might get a 14 over the rear wheels. Very much doubt over the front though. We talking about a 1*2? If so definitely won't fit over the fronts.

thanks ^^^ its for a corsad, has 17s on it, our old corsa came with a spare, and was going to pinch it lol before taking it, but not actually sure it will be any use. think i need more a 16 inch from a scrap yard, the space saver im on about has a massive fat tyre on it

will it be of use ????

Are 17's the standard sized wheels?

on the limited ed but i be 15s with fit ???

The only way you'll know is to try. On a 1.2 I can't imagine the callipers would be huge so the 14 may well fit.

I wouldn't trust it until I'd done trial fit though.

It would be fine as a short term solution to get you to a garage after a puncture. I wouldn't want to drive on 3 17's and 1 14 for too long lol.

its a 13 just checked with a massive tyre, old corsa running on 14s

as you say could fit on the back with drums and swap them around if needed to if a front failed put the back in the front - ie keep the little one at the back to get you home ???
