Spacer help - 172

  Renaultsport Clio 172
Hi guys

Know spacers have been done to death and I've had a good search but wanted some opinions.

I have a 172 RS Clio running the standard 195 tyres with 182 cup pack alloy wheels. I'm lowered on Eibach Sportlines. I'd like to bring the front wheels out as they sit slightly into the arches.

Question is, what size spacer to go for? Don't want it to look silly, the back wheels look fine but the front are not out enough. Also want 100% safety. Was thinking 15mm hubcentrics, would this be too much/too little? Any thoughts?

If you think 15mm would be cool then are these the right type? Or do you think I should go for more than 15mm or as it's a 172 would 15mm be the max before it looks silly?

Also are they a fit-at-home easy job to do? Any guides / tips?

Cheers, pics of 172's with eibachs and spacers would be good too ;)

would be too much, even a 13mm (slimest hubcen) would be a bit much IMO

15mm spacer is equiv to a ET30 wheel!

does it scrub?

On my old 16's it did, cant corner hard on my current 15's as the front tyres are like driving on ice, but probably slightly. I have alot of negative camber set at the moment though which I need to adjust off as it seems alot more in my face with 15's than with 16's.

So does anyone actually use spacers on a 172 if they're running 16" wheels?

I'm assuming that 10mm is no good as thy would be universal, I don't want the wheel wobbling or worse still falling off so safety is my concern!

If you get hubcentrics you'll be fine, I've got 20mm all round on mine and I still think they could do with coming out a bit more but it would probably scrub a lot tbh as it already scrubs when cornering hard, saying that though mine is a non sport so I guess 172's have a different track width to begin with?

I think 15mm hubcentrics will do you right.

I would go for 5mm personally. I know it doesn't sound much but it made a noticible difference on mine and improved handling as I'm now running a similar track to the 172cup.
