anyone know how much a clio mk2 key will cost, only got one key and if this one gets lost im f***ed

From Renault, for a key + coding is around £140 iirc.

Not to get it coded. You can get keys off eBay, and cutting is only a few quid, but you'd need the fob programming to disarm the immobiliser and start the car. I'd just look after the key tbh

nope... that cost is to supply and code a new key plus cut a new blade. Not a bad price really and you think you've got it bad? My Laguna II needs two new cards and even at cost its a bitter pill to swallow.
