spare wheel on 16v

what the size of the spare wheel in a 16v? need to know what size wheel will fit over my 16v front brakes.

15 inch steely i think - tyres are 185/55 15s on the spares as standard anyhow

14" will fit

but std valvers have 15" wheels, which are .5" wider on the Ph2.

has anyone tried to take ther spare wheel off and go for a can of foam stuff so they can reduce the weight of the 16v?

Just didnt bother with the foam.

hehe same here. The foam must weigh another 300g so I leave that at home as well. Its perfectly legal to drive around without a spare tyre anyway, as long as youve got AA cover who needs a spare wheel?

Ditch the spare and the cage/bracket and get some foam if youre feeeling unlucky! May aswell, you dont want to knacker a tyre from it sitting flat for to long really...

Exactly what I do. Can also ditch the jack then as well .... every little counts.
