English lessons.

...seriously though, save it and spend it on something not car related. Like beer, or save for a holiday with your mates.

  CLIO 172 CUP....
no engine mods it just standed at the moment with a..(itg panel filter)..

and ther is nothing you can do really with £100 when it comes to engine mods.

hoping to have a stage 2 from ktec soon at the end of march..

Spend the money on an instructional track day. This is better than any mods to suspension or engine, as you will be able to drive the car faster and safer! ;)

...kane....im gonna be looking on (fancyplate) today....cheers...

...mokeyknifefight.....what are camber bolts...

  Rusty Cup
for £25 or so they are bolts that allow the front wheels to lean in at the top, they instantly improve cornering and are a great mod the only negative effect is that if you introduce too much camber your front tyres wont last long!! i got through a new pair of paradas in 3000 miles but i had a good laugh in doing so :)

  Rusty Cup
take off you front wheel, loosen off both bolts holding the front suspension to the hub, remove the top bolt completely the replace with camber bolt, turn the bolt to get an idea of how much camber is being introduced, set to what you want (probably about half of what is possible) i then measured from the brake disk to the suspension strutt so i could replicate what i had done on the other side of the car i.e. both wheels have the same amount of camber.

so are theses really worth doing. and also if ther not set up properly will it just kill the tyres..will the tracking need seting back up.

and how will you no when thay are set up properly...

  Rusty Cup
So many question :) i fear only life experience will answer many of them. From my experience my car pulled to the left before i fitted them and i was perfect after i had them fitted, i would pay to have them setup purely for the cost involved not being worth it.

Maybe someone else that has had them will comment on their experience with them, but bare in mind there is potentially alot of faffing about if you dont give both the same amount of camber or if you havent put enough on both or if you feel you've put too much on both.

  CLIO 172 CUP....
yeah i was thinking of geting them fitted properly as it would just save me time f**king trying to set them up.

any one no the best place to have set up proprely..not some back street garage.

do kwick fit or some were like that do it..and how am i looking to pay.

  Rusty Cup
^^^ Kwik fit will do you a laser alignment and tell you what the readings are, i suspect they may setup some camber bolts but its easily an hour of someones time plus an alignment which i cant see being less than £90 (hours labour plus alignment)

Im happy with the way i set mine up but where as measuring a point to match a point the other side will close to guarantee symmetry i couldnt tell you how many degrees camber im running.

I wouldnt buy them with a view to having them setup for road use, buy them try them sell them you might loose £10, have them fitted dont like the tyre wear sell them you've lost £70
