Spark plug area in cyl 1 full of oil.

Yesterday the clio out of the blue started to missfire but very mildly.
Engine light On and back home (I covered less than 4 miles).
Today I had a look and the hole in cylinder 1 ( battery side ) had a significant amount of oil..
I couldn t take the plug off since I dont thave the right socket
All other cylinders (spark plug areas) are clean and dry.
I suspect rocker cover gasket..
Any idea of what is needed and the cost involved?
I was planning for new leads and plugs as my xmas present but now...I feel a bit miserable
What a fucked up xmas present
Cheers

its alright if you said no the other end i would have bet the vvt solenoid seal has had it and gushing into the plug well.

This happened to mine.

With it being the flywheel end no.1 its 99% got to be the cam cover gasket.

Cheers Martin for your reply, this is what I thought and after a bit of searching I see its a belts off job to do it.
s**t.. I couldn t imagine a better way to spend money that I dont have lol

Unfortunatly the Rocker cover is also the camshaft ladder and holds/houses the camshafts bearings, so the timing will be affected as the cams will no longer be secure and will move.
