Spax sus. on an ’04 clio

Question:

Rate the difficulty of fitting a 35mm (non- adjustable) spax suspension kit to an 04 clio 1.4 16v dynamique... coz my dad and i are going to have a go- but once i start it i dont wanna have to tow it to a garage!

If you cannot fit the suspension then you wont be able to move it at all. Have a go yourselves shouldnt be to hard have a look at the Cliosport spring guide will show you what to do or give you a good idea. If you have any trouble then ring a mobile garage tell be able to do it as you dont need many tooks as far as I remember.

You should be fine doing it on your own though.

the rear will take you 15min tops!!!! front about 1+1/2hrs

15mins? it takes u that long to jack up the car and take both the rear wheels off!

you only need to jack it up,you dont need the rear wheels off.you just remove the bottom shocker bolt and pull down the rear arm to release the spring.

yeah as jay says, no need to take off the rear wheels!!!!
