Speakers in shelf

  Clio 1.5 DCI (80)
Right I have a set of infinity coaxels in the front with the standard blaupunkt tweeters that came with my Clio. And I have 13cm Kenwood’s in the back with a 10 inch vibe sub. I am thinking of putting some 16 cm infinity components in the shelf with the tweeters on top of the shelf, to give a little more sound from the back. What do you think of this? What would u advise?

mixed views, a lot of people will say there's little point as a lot of the sound will be drowned out by the sub. I have 6x9s in the shelf and like the fact that it gets some treble in the back, however the sub drowns out a lot of the sound from them. Maybe having a look at just upgrading the kenwoods would be an idea.

I cannot understand how some people would expect better sound to come from the back of the car.
You sit at the front, everyone faces the front, so ask yourself "What am I thinking?" ;)

Keep the 13cm rear speakers
Put the rest on Ebay
FORGET 6x9s or putting components in the rear shelf
Pick up a nice set of components for the front and mount the tweeters in the A-pillars

If you want bass add a 4chnl amp to give your front-end more power and run a sub

All you need in the rear is something cheap & cheerful, doesn't have to be amped. There are many cars at competition level with no rear speakers!
