Speakers keep dying

Sometimes some of my speakers go quiet. If i turn the vol up a long way they kick back in and work normally for a while.
Its all after market sony kit but its worked fine for a good year

sounds like one of ur speakers is shorting out to ground or something... disconnect each one individually and turn the car on and off to reset the internal amp... this should eliminate which speaker it is

turning the car on and off will do nothing its on a continuous power supply off my second battery. there are also 2 amps in the boot but I get the point.

Might be worth noting that it started on just one speaker but now its spread
