JBL, not been very impressed with Alpine speakers in the past. Good head units though.

Ordered those JBLs a few days ago. They should be arriving tomorrow so I can give you an idea of how well they perform.

aparently the jbls are a really good buy so i here. i bought some fusion componants the other day really nice sound

I have them Alpine in the back and they do pretty good..........Also have the Alpine SPR-134A components and they sound crisp and clear.

Had some JBL in the past but if you wan´t clear and good instead of loud and loud........I would choose Alpine R-series over JBL anyday!!!

Just fitted my JBLs. Not quite what I expected. They would certainly go alot louder without distorting but there was still an overall lack of bass or depth to the music.

Saying all that Im still using the crappy Cup head unit. Will my new KDC-6027 make alot of difference?

Just put infinity kappa 4" in my doors to run with infinity 10 in the boot. V12 4chan and Alpine HU. The 4s sound mega crap so I have now gone for Fusion 5s. I have been asured it will be a massive improvement over the kappa 4s.
