Spec me a TV

Alright folks,

Right, I know absolutely nothing about TV's. Give me PC/computer parts anyday of the week!

So, I'm after a new TV, I reckon about 47" should do the trick. I don't know what's good and what's not so good. Should I get a Smart TV?

I've seen this so far, any other recommendations? Budget no more than £500.

42" though, meh. It's around £500 depending on where you look.

BTW, Is there a TV available that my PC can stream whatever content to at all? Networking won't be an issue, that's where we are actually good.

Right I've norrowed it down to the following two -

I've decided I definitely don't need a Smart TV. Netflix and everything is fine on my PS3.

Worth it tbh, brilliant compared to the old 32 LG it replaced.

Edit- Just seen the above.. and balls just seen its £50 off if you get home delivery now .
