Speed up Internet....

Using the Silver AOL package wireless broadband...seems to slow up now ALOT - takes ages for vides to buffer etc.....ant advice how to make it quick ?

gonna give it another week or 2 .
really slow and they keep cancelling my connection all together.
had to ring them 4 times in the last month ,,, crap

not trying to hi jack thread but heres mine.I got rid of AOL a long time ago, nightmare company.

Now with Tiscali, not much better. They told me I could only have 1MB speeds. Look what my router says.

I am in the process of upgrading to Tiscali 8MB max as going by this I can benefit from it.

Is it true tiscali offer lower upload speeds than other companys?

Tiscali are crap. Loads of my mates had Tiscali all of them got rid as soon as they could was utter s**t.

I had quite a good experience with AOL though. Got decent speeds. Didn't bother with the AOL software though which is s**t.

Then tried bulldog who were fine with the speeds but crap to deal with. Moved to Eclipse who were great but a bit expensive. And now I am with bethere and so far I think bethere has been the best. Not to mention the 1.2 mbit upload I get is great. And they are cheap. £18 a month for 24mb is good value.

id hav gone with bethere (now O2) but our exchange hasnt been upgraded yet!!

I have found videos do buffer slowly over 54 mbps wireless, but i would get rid of AOL first.

Apparently AOL are so s**t atm that theyre giving away Laptops and PS3s if you join them!!
