Speedo and Mileometer working/not working!!!

Hello

Sometimes my Speedo and Mileometer work fine and then sometimes they dont!!!

I could be driving along no probs, then all of a sudden the Speedo just stops working or it could be working fine, then I stop turn the engine back on and it's NOT working!!

While it's nice that it's keeping my mileage down, I'd rather have it working properly!!

Any ideas as to why or what is causing this and how to fix it?!

im havin exactly the same problem and people have told me i need a new speed sensor there about 15 on ebay

thanks for the replies fellas! I've just seen them on Ebay, for £18 so I'll be getting one ordered.
