speedo cable mk 1 16v

well my valver needs a new speedo cable, phoned gsf and a few other places and they said they were a dealer only part so i went to renault and they £103!!! anyone know if theyre definatley dealer only?

Apparently so, I found the same when I was looking for one a while back.

Are you a member on Clio16Valver? Im sure someone over there will have a good working condition one if you post up in the wanted section.

when i was lookinf for one, i found a place on ebay that did all sorts of speedo cable. theyy were about thirty quid. got one from someone who was breaking on in the for a fiver. maybe just bettter off getting a second hand one.

new one is still on my list, bought one new for about £35 3 years ago but it's fooked with all the engine in/outs

haha does sound a good idea tbf. its the idle thats the reason for changing mine
